The Process

Let us know about your lists
We’ll get your lists from your surgeons and start the ball rolling. If they’re regular lists, we’ll automatically chase them.
We get Informed Financial Consent
Once we receive your list, we’ll send your patients our preoperative Patient Experience (PX), which includes:
- Your biography and headshot (patients appreciate this personal touch).
- General anaesthesia information.
- Informed financial consent paperwork.
- Patient health survey.
Financial information is individually tailored to include their estimated out of pocket fee depending on their health fund. We also obtain consent for their fees, including for the full fee if their health fund claim is rejected. Our extensive experience mean that patients are well informed and understand that fee estimates are exactly that – so no matter what happens you get paid and paid quickly!

Send us your accounts
Finalise your accounts directly onto the Billumbra app in a few taps. You can also add additional patients by taking a photo of almost anything!
If you prefer the paper method, simply add your patient sticker onto our super-easy Solo Practice Management Billing Sheet and send it through to our team. We will then submit health fund claims and invoice the patient or their third-party insurer.
We’ll take care of the rest, submitting your accounts to health funds and Workcover and invoicing the patient for any applicable gap. Over half of our patients pay on the same day they receive their invoice!
Collect Payment & Prepayment
Patients entrust us with their payments, knowing they can rely on our convenient and secure system to handle transactions seamlessly. Patients can pay via bank transfer or credit card. All money goes directly to you.
